The Grinnell Rotary Club and the musical group, Shults & Co., have announced dates for their 2020 musical revue, “Return to Vegas/The Headliners.” The show will be presented February 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 pm in the Hotel Grinnell Auditorium. The production is a major fundraising event for the local Rotary Club with all profits benefitting Grinnell’s important first responders: the Grinnell Police Department and the Grinnell Fire Department.
Grinnell’s Rotary Club and Shults & Co. have been collaborating since 1995 and together, they have raised over $100,000 for community projects and organizations.
“The show is a sequel to the 2009 show”, said directors Frank and Sherry Shults. “That show, “Live from Las Vegas”, was one of our most successful shows, fun and entertaining for cast members and audiences alike.”
Shults & Co. singers are Frank and Sherry Shults, Tim and Gailanne Dill, Debby Pohlson, Austin Jones, George Drake, Bill Hammen, Jerry Lane and Dodi Reilly. Instrumentalists are Kathy Vanderploeg and John Landkamer, piano; Lowell Vanderploeg, percussion; Kent Kastendick, keyboard and saxophone; Gary Larsson, bass guitar and Christian Williams, guitars.
Tickets will go on sale January 30, 2020 at Brown’s Shoe Fit, Grinnell State Bank and Medicap Pharmacy. All seats will be $20.00.
