A Veterans Remembrance Program was hosted by St. Francis Manor on Monday, November 10, to honor local veterans.  Over 100 people attended the event including St. Francis Manor and Seeland Park residents as well as veterans from the Grinnell community.  Activity Directors Samantha McDonald, Caitlin Mellick, and Kayley Thompson presented the program and Barb Tininenko played patriotic music on the piano.  The Grinnell Ceremonial Unit represented by George Fowler, Larry Ellis and Richard Brignon assisted with the program and presented the flag to St. Francis Manor resident Evelyn Felper, in honor of her late husband and veteran, Gordon Felper, who passed away last month.  Gordon was a resident of St. Francis Manor at the time of his death.  Attendees enjoyed light hors d’oeuvres and beverages provided by the Culinary Department following the program.
