Jo Buck, Long Time Former Teacher, Passes Away

Jo Ann Buck passed away on December 23, 2013 in Palm Coast, FL. She was born on October 28, 1926 in Powhatan Township, Iowa to the late Walter and Ollie Iler (Williams). She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and taught at Grinnell Middle School for many years before retiring. She and Jim moved to the Palm Coast area in 1992. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and reading but her true love was spending beach time with her two girls and being with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Buck in 2008 and son, Cal Buck in 1976. Survivors include her daughters, Jadee and her husband Dan Blumenstock of Palatka, FL Jill Buck of Lake Mary, FL grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Eric Wiegner, Blake Blumenstock great-grandchildren, Caleb and Zachary Wiegner.
